At Seedfield we have many youth activities for young people of all ages. We believe it is important to invest time, effort and Christian teaching into their lives now in order that they may grow up as well balanced adults. If you have children who would like to join any of our activities, please contact our Youth Worker, Tia Danning or our Minister, Mark Roper. They will be able to give you contact details for the relevant activity
Rainbows meet every Friday from 5.45 - 7.00 pm
Rainbows start at school age on a roundabout of fun and friendship through games and crafts. Working towards a pot of gold badge before moving up to brownies on their seventh birthday.
Brownies meet every Friday from 6.15 pm - 8.00 pm
The whole of brownies is an adventure aimed at developing their skills as individuals and team work in sixes. Through a wide range of activities they are encouraged to work through their promise, work for interest badges of their choice and become aware of world issues and the part they can play in them. So being ready and able at ten years to move easily into guides.
Guides meet every Friday from 7.30pm - 9.00 pm
Guides aim to develop healthy choices and good communication skills, through team building activities in their patrols. As individuals they are challenged to ‘Go for it’, a programme that is wide and varied and includes such things as sport, crafts, cookery and travel, so broadening their world view as they progress.
Beavers
Beavers are part of the scout group. They are the youngest members aged 6 to 8 years and move into cubs on their eighth birthday. We meet 6.00 - 7.00 pm every Wednesday evening and have a varied programme of games crafts and activities. We occasionally have trips out and during summer months when we try to concentrate on outdoor activities weather permitting.
The Beaver promise is, ‘I promise to be kind and helpful and to love God’ and the motto is ‘Fun and Friends’.

Cubs
This is for lads aged between 8 and 10 and we meet on Wednesdays between 7.00 pm and 8.30 pm. Each week we have lot of fun playing games and learning lots of different things. We earn badges for hobbies, sports, collecting and lots more
Scouts
If you like a variety of games, friends, fun, camping and other outdoor activities, then come and join us. We're open to lads from the ages of 10 - 15 yrs , and meet every Wednesday from 7-30 - 9-30 pm
Anyone caring for toddler aged children knows the value of good adult conversation after a long week of patty-cake and baby talk!
The Toddler Group at Seedfield meets on Monday mornings from 10.00 - 11.30 am, and Thursday Mornings from 10.30 - 11.30 am Parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles, child care providers, etc. have an opportunity to sit down with a cup of tea or coffee and meet with other adults while their children mix with the other children and play with the wide variety of toys available for them. Juice, hot drinks, biscuits, and toast are available for the midmorning munchies
The MIX is a weekly termly club for children ages 9-12 years old we meet 5.30 - 7pm. It is free for your first time and then £1 each week after that. We have fun, activities such as football, basketball, table tennis and other games in the hall, we have a craft activity and tuck shop. We have a five min thought for the day as well.
For young people aged 11-14yrs meet on a Sunday evening in the church hall 6.30pm - 8.30pm. Its free for your first time and £1 each time after that. We have different activities, games, craft, Nintendo Wii, tuck shop and are currently going through a course called 'Check it out' which introduces young people to think about Jesus in a fun and relevant way. Come and check us out!
Once a month we go on a trip out to a youth celebration event called 'Liv it' which happens at a different place each time in and around Bury. This is a great opportunity for anyone aged high school and college age to meet other young people who have a passion for Jesus and have fun worshipping and learning about God.
