Welcome to the home page of Seedfield Methodist Church, Bury. Seedfield is a lively, Evangelical Church of around 200 members. We have many youth and social activities which provide for people of all ages. We have two morning worship services and many smaller fellowship and teaching groups. NOTICE BOARD


Junior Church/Creche, Summer Arrangements Please note that there will be no Junior Church from 27th July - 13th September. All services are all-age worship and children will be welcome in church. The usual informal arrangements for Creche will apply. Parents will, if they wish, be able to take Creche age children into the hall and supervise theme there.


Mary’s Vineyard Now on Summer break. Please collect sheets with 2008 - 9 from back of church. For further information on this women’s fellowship group, please see either Michelle Holden or Janet Vipond.


Church Prayer Meeting Wed 13th Aug at 8 - 9 pm. Jesus said, “Watch and Pray”... Joining with other in the church will encourage you to do just that and its never too late to start!


JMA Boxes Please hand them in to Cath Hulbert or Lynn Telfer by Sunday Aug 24th at the latest.


Steward Meeting will be held in the Brunswick Room on 27th Aug at 8 pm. Can stewards please make every effort to attend.


Circuit Welcome Service Will take place at 7.30 pm on Fri 29th Aug at trinity Heywood and is an opportunity for us all to welcome our new church worker, Tia Danning and Rev. Diane Hicks into the circuit. The service will be led by Rev. D King, district chairman.


Next Family Worship Team Practise Wed 3rd September at 7pm in church.


Bible Notes There are copies of UCB Bible notes on the shelf under the whiteboard. There are adult and young people’s versions. Please take a copy and let Cath Hulbert know if you want to be included on the list of regular users. Copies are £1 each or £5 for regular users which will take you up to Oct 2009


Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit 2008 A letter from the Rev. Paul Harding of St. Peter’s Halliwell, Bolton is on the church notice board, along with a booking form.
